Double Line Pinstriping Tape
Double Line Pinstriping Tape (also known as 2-Line Stripe Tape) is a perfect choice to add an accent to your car or truck. You can go with a two line pinstripe where both lines are the same size or you can have one line thicker than the other. Our double line pinstripe tapes come in a variety of sizes, line thickness and color options. The basic double line pinstripe has 2 lines with a space (or gap) between them. The two lines may have the same thickness or one line can be wider than the other. The space or gap between the two lines can be larger or smaller, leaving the 2 lines closer together or farther apart.
Our 2-Line Pinstripe with one thick line and one thin line gives you the option to install the pin striping with either the thick side up or thick side down. Once you set your pinstripe into place, simply remove the clear carrier film (that holds the 2 lines together). Once the carrier film is removed, you can make a pointed end at the front of the fender and rear by gently lifting the end of top stripe and pulling it down over top of the bottom stripe making and X patter.. Use a razor blade to gently trim away the overlap to reveal the finished end point. Another option to finish the front and rear pinstripes is to trim a small section of the bottom stripe away so that the top pinstripe is longer and bottom pinstripe shorter. You can experiment by staggering cut lines along the end section of the pinstripes as well. The possibilities are countless, so be as creative as you wish to make a pinstripe for your car or truck.
Our classic 2-Line Pinstriping is available with both lines being the same color or an option of 2 different colors for each line. You may find that you need a classic car pinstripe of an odd size of stripe lines. In this case, you may be able to re-create the line pattern by combining 2 or more rolls of our varying pinstripe options. This is simply done by installing one set of double line pinstripe tape and using the 'gap' space as a guideline to lay down your next set of pinstripes. When you pull off the protective carrier film, you also pull off the unnecessary pinstripe lines left behind. You can do this several times over to make a unique Multi-line pinstripe. You can be let your creativity loose with an endless amount of options to make the perfect pinstripe.
