PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY BEFORE PRECEDING

We have provided complete instructions and in most applications specific hardware,3M tape, and specialized brackets or braces. The list of these items is listed on page two of the Instructions.
-Before starting please verify that they are included with the shipment.

Also verify that you received the correct Xenon part. All part numbers are embossed on the inside of the part. The list of part(s) is noted at the bottom of the page.

Tools & general materials required: #7447 Scotchbrite pads, TSP or TING cleaners, sandpaper, various hand tools, drill, 7/64" & 3/64" drill bits.

THERE ARE FOUR PHASES TO MOST INSTALLATIONS:

  1. Removal of factory parts that might interfere with the installation and then TEST FIT the parts to verify their fit on your particular vehicle.
  2. Preparation of the parts for paint - and painting.
  3. Installation of the 3M tape (if applicable).
  4. Installation of the parts.

PHASE 1) REMOVAL & TEST FIT

REMOVE : Remove the stock fascia and save all hardware. When removing the stock parts note how they are installed. Our replacement fascia is installed just like the factory part(s). Test fit the part to verify an excellent fit.

DO NOT PREP, DRILL OR PAINT THE PARTS UNTIL THIS IS DONE.

NOTE : Occasionally, our parts might seem to be slightly distorted upon test fit. If so, place them in the sun bottom side down (if a warm day) or in a warm area (up to 130) for an hour or more.
Our urethane formula does have a considerable "memory" and they should return to their original as manufactured shape.

PHASE 2) PREPARATION OF PART FOR PAINTING & PAINT (if applicable)

- SAND edges as necessary.
- DRILL any mounting holes where we have dimples. They are in the same position as the stock fascia.
- WASH paintable surfaces and the tape lkedge w/ 3M #7447 Scotchbrite pad, TSP, and warm water.
- SAND the paintable surfaces w/ 320 wet or dry - at this point the sruface should appear to be a dull medium gray color, not shiny or black.
- CLEAN paintable surfaces with either DuPont 2319S or Sherwin Williams #R7K157 or #R7K158 or equivalent.
- FILL any slight surface imperfections, if applicable, with "Evercoat" glazing putty & sand smooth.
- APPLY masking tape over the inside tape ledge area (if applicable).
- APPLY DuPont #2322 or Sherwin Williams P6C61 adhesion promoter or equivalent.
- APPLY basecoat/clearcoat following the paint manufacture's recommendations for painting a flexible polyurethane type material.

NOTE : Some painters prefer, after cleaning the surface, to apply DuPont "Variprime" or equivalent, let dry and scuff with gray Scotchbrite pad or sand 600, clean and then paint.

- DO NOT oven bake our part over 130 and they should be well supported during this cycle.

PHASE 3) INSTALLATION OF THE 3M TAPE - not applicable

PHASE 4) INSTALLATION OF THE PART (perform in a warm area above 70 degrees)

- The mesh that has been provided is 1 - sheet, 42 x 8 (needs to be cut to 32 x 71/2") and 1 - sheet, 14 x 6 1/2" (which need to be cut into 2 peices, each 8 x 3"). Position the center mesh on the backside of the center opening with the top edge just even with the top of the 4 screw location at the top of the opening. Attach the mesh with the #8 x 3/4" screwws provided. Then install the mesh onto the backside of the outer two opening below the turn lights.

IMPORTANT

If the car is a 94 or 95 model install the turn light assemblies onto our Fascia, however, if the car is a 96 or 97 model you will need to order from a Honda Dealer the following:

#33302SV4A01, right turn assembly
#33352SV4A01, left turn assembly

Our part has been designed to accept the 94 or 95 turn light assemblies.

- INSTALL our fascia using the factory hardware and again, it installs just like the factory fascia.
- SECURE the wheel well liner per the illustration above.
