FAQ for Extreme Dimensions Body kits

• What are Extreme Dimensions body kits made of?
  All Extreme Dimensions body kits are made of high quality fiberglass materials unless otherwise noted. Some other materials they use are polyurethane (urethane), and the Carbon Creations products are made of a superior grade Carbon Fiber material similar to those found in the military and aircraft industries.
• What is the difference between the Extreme Dimensions Body Kits and all of the other body kits out there on the market?
  What sets Extreme Dimensions apart from other companies is that they really do manufacturer their own high quality fiberglass, carbon fiber, and polyurethane body kit products. In 2006, they introduced the new hybrid fiberglass DuraFlex body kit line, while their Carbon Creations products continued to set the standard in premium carbon fiber aerodynamics. In 2007, look for the release of Couture, our new luxury polyurethane line for the serious enthusiast.
• How hard is it to install a fiberglass body kit?
  All bumpers, side skirts, spoilers, or hoods require professional installation. That means that these parts need to be done by experienced body shops that have done bodykits before, not just a regular collision shop. Due to the fact that these are aftermarket parts, some modifications of the parts and/or vehicles maybe necessary. Make sure an installation fitment has been done first before priming and painting. Once painting has been done, it is very difficult to modify to fit without destroying the paint. You would have to paint again! Generally speaking, Extreme Dimensions body kits do not have fitment problems. Some bumpers are made to the Japanese spec of some car models. In these cases, more modifications may be needed. When in doubt, please call or email us. Do not assume that it fits. We are more than happy to answer your questions.
• I do not see what I want online, can you special order it for me?
  If you cant find what you need on our website, we may be able to special order it for you. Please contact our sales department so we can assist you.
• Can I mix and match a Extreme Dimensions bodykit?
  Yes, you can mix and match all Extreme Dimensions body kit components. Simply mix and match your bumpers, side skirts, hoods, scoops, etc. and we will ship it all together in one order for you.
• The product I got does not look exactly like the pictures online. Did I get the correct part?
  The pictures we use in our ads are all custom show cars. Due to the variety of custom modifications done to them, the results may differ from the pictures. As always, pictures are for illustration purposes only. Generally speaking, the core style of the body kit will be the same.
• Do you ship COD?
  No, all purchases must be pre-paid before being processed.
• Can I ship my body kit to my friends house?
  All credit card orders must ship to the address of the card holder, at the billing address on your credit card statement. If you would like to ship to another address you can pre-pay your order with a cashier’s check or a money order and we will ship your parts anywhere you like. You can also add an "additional ship-to address" to your credit card and we can also ship to this alternate address. You will need to call your credit card company and ask them to add this, and once we verify that information we can ship it to that address for you as well.
• Do your body kits and ground effects come painted?
  No, our body kits do not come painted. Since paint colors fade over time, and the fact that you may need to make modifications to your kit is not a good idea to get a body kit painted before you test fit it. We recommend you take it to a professional body shop to have the kits prepped, primed and painted.
• Why does my kit not fit perfectly?
  Due to the nature of fiberglass, we cannot guarantee fitment. All our products are made to the closest OEM standards possible, but since they are all hand made minor difference can occur. Also with the vast possibilities of why products do not fit perfectly, such as accidents, heat, poor installation, etc, it is very difficult to guarantee perfect fitment.
